Some Dreams never die

Still soaring in my soul as they fly...

The battle of the wills has begun...and I stay and fight

I stay for You...I stay for You.

Sometimes when it gets especially cold,

I'll take your memory out

Living as always in my still beating heart...

As such memories refuse to part!

Searching back to visions of you,

Your warm smile I still see,

Eyes far reaching like the sky so blue

Aching just to feel this life with you...

In a way I feel you there with me

On the coldest of nights,

Wanting to Love me and  fight my fights...

Your warmth calms down these unsettled tides

That a tear of wanting can no longer hide

For now, I am just a traveler passing by...

In a strange world of reckless wars and lies!

Remembering how we once crossed paths

While Heaven's gaze wept and cried,

Taking me to the Eternal edges of why...

I saw you as a soaring Eagle

Soaring high above my reach

I felt you in the the waves that crashed

On a distant Rocky beach front shore,

In a far away land I may never explore!

I saw you as a silent wind...

So much unsaid, building on so much within!

The day will surely someday come,

where I'll build my Journey's end...

...Then I'll hope to take those new steps with You,

...In a place where miracles form the day

...And Gods Love rises and falls in magnificent display!!!
Just a Poem that I've been working on for some time & finally perfected to my own liking...called "Being brought back to a Rememberance of You"...

I'm trying to decide if I like this one better of "Flashes of Yesterdays" better.
They're both very well written. If I knew more about poetry I could write a more detailed comment.
It flows very nicely, and I enjoyed reading it. They were both very pretty. This one seems as if it could almost be a song.

(: Anyways, nice work. You're a wonderful writer.
